Key Qualifications for Prospective Students
- Applicants must belong to one of two groups - Minority or Military Veteran post 2000
- Being in both is not a requirement
- A Minority as defined by the City of Chicago includes African Americans, Females, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders and Hispanics
- Veterans should be of the Iraq or Afghanistan War Era
- An Interest in pursuing a business career in any field, including not-for-profit
- Some College – degree not necessary
- Some work experience that demonstrates supervisory or management potential
- Significant tuition is not a requirement. Only a token fee and community service agreement
- There is limited availability (maximum of 15) for each program. Students will be chosen based on the above qualifications, natural curiosity, and the ability to collaborate
